Started the 2009 Season off at the Gentlemens Club, and it didn't dissapoint. As always Vegas was Vegas, had a great time seeing all the peeps from last year and was a great way to start off the 09 season. Finshed 30th for my first trip to Vegas but kept my head up knowing the course and the field was very challengeing.

Next Stop was of cOURSE THE MEMORIAL one of my favorite tournys of the year! And coming off a top ten finish in 08 my eyes were set on the prize. Had the pleasure the first round of being on a Card with Ken Climo and Steve Rico, two of the best disc golfers in the world. It was good competetion all the way through!! I posted a 53 with a 5 on 17 which gave climo and Rico the advandtage, they posted 50 and 51 not to bad at all. I was super bummed though being tied with Rico and having Kenny by one to throw it away on 17 but the experience was one in a lifetime. Played pretty solid the next two rounds, got passed by a few crafty vets the last round to take 18th and a bid at the 09 USDGC, I''ll take it!!!

One day b-tier in Texas

Twin Parks presented a one day b-tier which I felt I needed to go play. Pretty good showing for a one dayer in central Tejas including, Jimmy Zammora, Jay Reading etc... There was some much that happend on this one little day it would take forever to explain so i'll give you the juicy stuff. 3 way tie for first Jimmy, Jay, Myself, which really turned out to be a two way playoff between Jimmy and I. Jay might have missed a 10 footer on the last hole to be in the playoff OUCH! but he gets revenge soon enough. Jimmy and Me had a battle going to 6 holes after we both played the front 5 perfect, I ended up winning on the 6th hole to take the prize!! YA BOYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!

Texas State Disc Golf Championships

Might have been one of the pretty Texas States i've seen in along time, the weather was perfec, okay maybe there was 45 + winds but other than tha it was perfect. The Jenkins Crew showed up, Nikko was in attendance, alittle JD and Soete made everything right. Matty O played solid everyround to take the crown Avery and Olsey a close tied for second Nikko got me by a stick (last hole him 2 me 4) to take 4th me alone in 5th Matt Hall, Miles 6th Texas States is one of the best run tournys there is!
